We flew from Torréon to Cancun via Mexico City.  We landed in Cancun on a Saturday night (Dec.21) and took a bus to Playa Del Carmen.  Playa Del Carmen is a real touristic town, a little too much for us, but the beach is nice and the water is crystal clear.

Sunday morning (Dec. 22), we took the ferry to Cozumel (35 min. 12$US) and a taxi to our rented condominium.

My mother, my sister & her boyfriend flew from Canada and we spent the week together at this amazing place. We rented a car and drove around the island.  The archaeological sites were nothing more than few piles or rocks, but the beaches were very pretty, and we especially liked Punta Del Sur.

We spent Christmas day on the beach and went out for dinner at Fiesta Americana and it was succulent.   
A week that went way too fast…
